Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 29-A MRSA §1919-A
is enacted to read:
§1919-A.__Tire and wheel modifications on vehicles with
antilock braking systems
A person may use any combination of tires and wheels on a
vehicle equipped with an antilock braking system provided that
the resultant diameter of the tire and wheel is the same as
the diameter recommended by the manufacturer of that vehicle.
SUMMARY
This bill allows a person to use any combination of tires
and wheels on a vehicle equipped with an antilock braking
system as long as the diameter of the tires and wheels is the
same as the diameter recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
