| | 3. A representative of the commercial fishing industry | other than lobstering; |
|
| | 4. A representative of commercial boat captains; |
|
| | 5. A representative of the marine trades industry, such as | a boat builder or a marina owner; |
|
| | 6. A representative of a coastal business, such as an | innkeeper, restaurateur or campground owner; |
|
| | 7. A representative of a commercial recreational business, | such as a schooner captain, kayak outfitter or fishing guide; |
|
| | 8. A representative of the finfish aquaculture industry; |
|
| | 9. A representative of the shellfish aquaculture industry; |
|
| | 10. A representative who has expertise in land | conservation; |
|
| | 11. A representative who has expertise in marine | conservation; |
|
| | 12. A representative who has expertise in conservation of | fish such as Atlantic salmon; |
|
| | 13. A representative of an environmental advocacy | organization; |
|
| | 14. One scientist from the field of physical oceanography | or similar field; |
|
| | 15. One scientist from the field of benthic ecology or | other field related to the study of the sea bottom; |
|
| | 16. One marine biologist; |
|
| | 17. One expert on Maine coastal heritage and culture; and |
|
| | 18. One citizen at large. |
|
| | Representatives may be from the state university system but | may not be employees of a state agency. |
|
| | The council or its staff shall incorporate at least 2 | opportunities for public input and comment into its study; and | be it further |
