1.__Associated equipment.__"Associated equipment" means any proprietary device, machine or part used in the manufacture or maintenance of a video lottery terminal, including, but not limited to, integrated circuit chips, printed wire assemblies, printed wire boards, printing mechanisms, video display monitors and metering devices.

2.__Commission.__"Commission" means the Maine State Lottery Commission.

3.__Director.__"Director" means the Director of the Bureau of Alcoholic Beverages and Lottery Operations within the Department of Administrative and Financial Services.

4.__Drug abuser.__"Drug abuser" has the same meaning as in Title 5, section 20003, subsection 10.

5.__Drug addict.__"Drug addict" has the same meaning as in Title 5, section 20003, subsection 11.

6.__Drug-dependent person.__"Drug-dependent person" has the same meaning as in Title 5, section 20003, subsection 12.

7.__Formal charging instrument.__"Formal charging instrument" means a complaint, indictment, information, juvenile petition or other formal written accusation against a person for some criminal or juvenile offense.

8.__Fugitive from justice.__"Fugitive from justice" has the same meaning as in Title 15, section 201, subsection 4.

9.__Gross terminal income.__"Gross terminal income" means money or credits inserted into a video lottery terminal minus money or credits or prizes paid out to winners.

10.__Licensee.__"Licensee" means an entity licensed by the commission to operate a video lottery terminal in accordance with section 371.

11.__Net terminal income.__"Net terminal income" means money remaining after disbursement of video lottery credits and deductions of administrative expenses.

12.__Off-track betting facility.__"Off-track betting facility" has the same meaning as in Title 8, section 275-A.
