(5) Members of boards listed in chapter 379, who are
required by law to represent a specific interest,
except as otherwise provided by law; and

 
(6) Members of advisory boards as listed in chapter
379.

 
Sec. 6. 5 MRSA §18-A, sub-§1, ¶B, as enacted by PL 2001, c. 203, §2,
is amended to read:

 
B. "Executive employee" has the same meaning as set forth
in section 19, subsection 1, paragraph D except that
"executive employee" includes employees of and members
serving with the National Guard and employees of the
University of Maine System, the Maine Maritime Academy and
the state technical colleges Maine Community College
System.

 
Sec. 7. 5 MRSA §55, sub-§1, ¶A, as enacted by PL 1999, c. 566, §1,
is amended to read:

 
A. Three members representing State Government,
including:

 
(1) The Commissioner of Administrative and Financial
Services, or the commissioner's designee, who shall
serve as the chair of the committee;

 
(2) The Commissioner of Economic and Community
Development or the commissioner's designee; and

 
(3) One of the following 3 officials appointed by
the Governor on a rotating basis in the following
order:

 
(a) The Commissioner of Education or a
designee;

 
(b) The President of the Maine Technical
Community College System or a designee; or

 
(c) The Chancellor of the University of Maine
System or a designee;

 
Sec. 8. 5 MRSA §92-A, sub-§4, as amended by PL 1995, c. 148, §4, is
further amended to read:

 
4. State agency or agency. "State agency" or "agency"
means any unit of State Government or local government,
including any state board or commission, except the
Legislature and its committees and subcommittees, the Judicial
Department, the University of Maine System, the Maine
Technical Community College System and the Maine Maritime
Academy.
