(2)__The land has been held for 25 to 48 months or less, | the fine is $600 per acre of area harvested; |

| (3)__The land has been held for 49 to 72 months or | less, the fine is $400 per acre of area harvested; and |
|
| (4)__The land has been held for 73 to 96 months or | less, the fine is $200 per acre of area harvested; and |
|
| B.__When the basal area after harvest is less than 30 square | feet of acceptable growing stock per acre and: |
|
| (1)__The land has been held for 24 months or less, the | fine is $1,000 per acre of area harvested; |
|
| (2)__The land has been held for 25 to 48 months or | less, the fine is $800 per acre of area harvested; |
|
| (3)__The land has been held for 49 to 72 months or | less, the fine is $600 per acre of area harvested; and |
|
| (4)__The land has been held for 73 to 96 months or | less, the fine is $400 per acre of area harvested. |

| | 3.__Fines deposited in dedicated account.__All fines collected | under this section must be deposited in a dedicated account and | used for the bureau's education and enforcement activities. |
|
| | The Director of the Bureau of Forestry shall adopt rules in | accordance with Title 5, chapter 375 to implement this | subchapter. Rules adopted pursuant to this subchapter are major | substantive rules as defined in Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter | 2-A and must be submitted to the Legislature for review. |
