Sec. 1. 5 MRSA §19131, sub-§2, ¶D, as enacted by PL 1999, c. 785, §3 and amended by PL 2001, c. 354, §3, is further amended to read:

D. The Commissioner of Behavioral and Developmental Services; and

Sec. 2. 5 MRSA §19131, sub-§2, ¶E, as enacted by PL 1999, c. 785, §3, is amended to read:

E. The Commissioner of Public Safety.;

Sec. 3. 5 MRSA §19131, sub-§2, ¶¶F and G are enacted to read:

F.__The Commissioner of Labor; and

G.__At the discretion of the Governor, a member of the public, appointed by the Governor.

SUMMARY

This bill expands the Children's Cabinet to include the Commissioner of Labor and, at the discretion of the Governor, a member of the public appointed by the Governor.
