Sec. 2. Reporting date established. Resolved: That the Public Utilities Commission shall report on its plan and the status of implementation to any policy-making body established in state law to direct a coordinated effort to develop, streamline and oversee the State's economic development policy and specific efforts to retain and attract young people and to the joint standing committee of the Legislature having jurisdiction over telecommunications matters no later than September 8, 2005 and every 6 months thereafter until implementation is complete.

This resolve directs the Public Utilities Commission to develop a plan to implement universal rural broadband Internet access statewide by January 15, 2006.
