3.__Penalties.__A person who violates subsection 1 commits a
Class E crime for which the court shall impose a fine of not less
than $500, none of which may be suspended.__The court also shall
impose a fine for $500 for each turkey unlawfully possessed, none
of which may be suspended.

 
§11752.__Tagging wild turkey

 
A person may not, prior to presenting a wild turkey for
registration, possess or leave in a field or forest a wild turkey
that person killed that does not have securely attached and
plainly visible the wild turkey tag portion of that person's
permit bearing that person's full name and address.__A person who
violates this section commits a civil violation for which a
forfeiture of not less than $100 nor more than $500 may be
adjudged, unless otherwise specified.

 
ARTICLE 3

 
HUNTING METHODS SPECIFIC TO WILD TURKEYS

 
§11801.__Prohibited hunting methods

 
1.__Unlawful hunting of wild turkey.__A person may not hunt
wild turkeys, except in accordance with section 11155,
subsections 1 to 6; sections 11701, 11702 and 12301; section
12304, subsection 3; and section 12305.

 
2.__Unlawful methods of hunting wild turkey.__A person may
not:

 
A.__Employ the use of a dog or dogs in any manner while
hunting wild turkeys;

 
B.__Engage in an organized drive of any manner while hunting
wild turkeys;

 
C.__Use bait; or

 
D.__Use a trap or other device intended or designed for the
purpose of capturing or ensnaring wild turkeys.

 
3.__Penalties.__A person who violates subsection 1 commits a
Class E crime for which the court shall impose a fine of not less
than $500, none of which may be suspended.__The court also shall
impose a fine of $500 for each turkey unlawfully killed, none of
which may be suspended.
