laws pertaining to invasive aquatic plants, inspecting watercraft
for invasive aquatic plant materials, educational and
informational efforts targeted at invasive aquatic plant
prevention, eradication and management activities and the
production and distribution of lake and river protection stickers
required under section 13058, subsection 3.

 
§10258.__Snowmobile Enforcement Fund

 
1.__Fund established.__The Snowmobile Enforcement Fund,
referred to in this section as the "fund," is established in the
department's Bureau of Warden Service.__All funds credited to the
fund are available for use by the Game Warden Colonel of the
Bureau of Warden Service only for the purposes established in
this section.__Money in the fund may be used only to supplement
other funds appropriated to the enforcement operations program.__
Money in the fund at the end of each fiscal year does not lapse
and must be carried forward to the next fiscal year.

 
2.__Fund uses.__The Game Warden Colonel may use money in the
fund only for the following purposes:

 
A.__Regular or overtime personnel services costs of the
warden service related to enforcement of snowmobile laws;

 
B.__Safety or other education programs conducted by the
department or authorized by the department that are related
to the operation of snowmobiles; or

 
C.__Purposes, including the purchase of equipment or
machinery, determined by the Game Warden Colonel as
necessary for effective snowmobile safety and enforcement
activities.

 
§10259.__Whitewater Rafting Fund

 
1.__Fund established.__The Whitewater Rafting Fund, referred
to in this section as the "fund," is established to be used by
the department, the Department of Conservation, Bureau of Parks
and Lands and the affected counties and municipalities to fund
activities related to river recreation with primary emphasis on
those activities that relate to whitewater trips.

 
2.__Funding.__All fees and surcharges collected under chapter
929 must be credited to the fund, except for license fees
collected in accordance with sections 12907 and 12909.

 
3.__Budget.__The expenditures from the fund are subject to
legislative approval in the same manner as the General Fund
budgets of the department and the Department of Conservation,
