| | | The director of each local organization for emergency | | management shall, in collaboration with other public and private | | agencies within the State, develop or cause to be developed | | mutual aid arrangements for reciprocal emergency management aid | | and assistance in case of a disaster too great to be dealt with | | unassisted.__These arrangements must be consistent with the state | | emergency management program, and in time of emergency each local | | organization for emergency management shall render assistance in | | accordance with the mutual aid arrangements.__For this purpose, | | political subdivisions are authorized when geographical locations | | make mutual aid arrangements desirable to enter into mutual aid | | arrangements subject to the approval of the director. |
