An Act To Make Technical Corrections to Maine's Fish and

 
Wildlife Laws

 
Emergency preamble. Whereas, Acts of the Legislature do not become
effective until 90 days after adjournment unless enacted as
emergencies; and

 
Whereas, certain provisions of this bill must take effect
immediately to avoid placing an undue economic hardship on
certain small businesses and to help secure the public's safety;
and

 
Whereas, in the judgment of the Legislature, these facts create
an emergency within the meaning of the Constitution of Maine and
require the following legislation as immediately necessary for
the preservation of the public peace, health and safety; now,
therefore,

 
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:

 
Sec. 1. 1 MRSA §402, sub-§3, śL, as amended by PL 2003, c. 392, §2, is
further amended to read:

 
L. Records describing security plans, security procedures or
risk assessments prepared specifically for the purpose of
preventing or preparing for acts of terrorism, but only to the
extent that release of information contained in the record could
reasonably be expected to jeopardize the physical safety of
government personnel or the public. Information contained in
records covered by this paragraph may be disclosed to the
Legislature or, in the case of a political or administrative
subdivision, to municipal
