or legally acquired by the permittee and possessed in accordance
with section 12152.

 
A.__A person who violates this subsection commits a civil
violation for which a fine of not less than $100 nor more
than $500 may be adjudged.

 
B.__A person who violates this subsection after having been
adjudicated as having committed 3 or more civil violations
under this Part within the previous 5-year period commits a
Class E crime.

 
Sec. B-194. 12 MRSA §12052, sub-§4, śC, as enacted by PL 2003, c. 414,
Pt. A, §2 and affected by Pt. D, §7, is amended to read:

 
C. A person may not fail to shall plainly and conspicuously
post the boundary line of a special dog training area with
legible notices at least 11 inches square, placed not more
than 100 yards apart, that must bear the following warning:

 
"SPECIAL DOG TRAINING FIELD TRIAL AREA -- HUNTING AND
TRAPPING IS UNLAWFUL. This land is set aside under
special license for the training of dogs and the
holding of field trials. Entering on this land for the
purpose of hunting or permitting dogs to enter without
proper authorization is prohibited."

 
The name and address of the licensee must be printed on the
notice.

 
Sec. B-195. 12 MRSA §12052, sub-§8, as enacted by PL 2003, c. 414, Pt.
A, §2 and affected by Pt. D, §7, is repealed and the following
enacted in its place:

 
8.__Violation of license restriction.__A person may not
violate any restriction of a license or permit issued in
accordance with this section.

 
A.__A person who violates a license or permit restriction
under this section__commits a civil violation for which a
fine of not less than $100 nor more than $500 may be
adjudged.

 
B.__A person who violates a license or permit restriction
under this section after having been adjudicated as having
committed 3 or more civil violations under this Part within
the previous 5-year period commits a Class E crime.
