| §13161.__Future for Youth in Maine State Work Action Tactics Team |
|
| | The Future for Youth in Maine State Work Action Tactics Team, | referred to in this chapter as "the S.W.A.T. team," is | established as an advisory body to bring together representatives | of government, education, business and labor in a focused, | coordinated effort to recommend to the Governor and the | Legislature and to oversee strategies, including realigning and | streamlining the State's economic development policies and | resources, and specific efforts to retain and attract youth.__For | the purposes of this chapter, "youth" means persons 15 to 35 | years of age. |

| | 1.__Voting members; appointment.__The S.W.A.T. team consists | of the following 15 voting members, including at least 2 members | under 35 years of age, appointed as follows: |

| A.__Five members appointed by the President of the Senate as | follows: |
|
| (1)__Three members representing business; one business | representative must be an individual under 35 years of | age who has started a business; |
|
| (2)__One member representing labor and workforce | development; and |
|
| (3)__One member who is a college student under 35 years | of age, the appointment alternating annually between a | student recommended by the Board of Trustees of the | University of Maine System and a student recommended by | the Board of Trustees of the Maine Community College | System; |
