| Requiring that the Bureau of Motor Vehicles within the Department of the Secretary of State rescind vehicle registrations of those people who paid the vehicle excise tax with a bad check will increase Highway Fund costs of the bureau by $41,100 and by $50,053 in fiscal years 2003-04 and 2004-05, respectively. The bureau will also collect increased revenues for the Highway Fund from reinstatement fees; the estimated amounts will be $2,011 and $2,681 in fiscal years 2003-04 and 2004-05, respectively. | |||||||
