Fiscal Detail and Notes
	A General Fund appropriation will be required to fund the general operating expenses of the Commission to Study the Scope and Quality of Citizenship Education.  The additional costs associated with providing staff assistance to the commission can be absorbed by the Legislature utilizing existing budgeted resources.  The additional cost for a representative of the Department of Education to serve on the Commission can be aborbed by the Department utilizing existing budgeted resources.
