The
Department of Behavioral and Developmental Services will require additional
funding to maintain one unit at the Stone Building one year after the
Riverview Psychiatirc Center opens.
The total amount required may exceed $3,000,000 annually if the intent
of the bill is to fully staff this unit based on bed capacity even if the
unit does not treat patients. The
General Fund amount required will also depend on the amount of disproportionate
share hospital funding available for this purpose and can not be determined
at this time. |
