Fiscal Detail
and Notes |
The
resolve requires the Bureau of Insurance to review and analyze existing
mandated health insurance benefits. The fiscal note assumes reviews will need
to be completed by an external contractor on an expedited basis for a January
15, 2004 report. Existing mandates
will be categorized into 12 mandate topics and analyzed at a cost of $15,000
per report, the maximum cost per report paid to the current vendor that
completes proposed mandate benefit bill reviews. Costs would be one-time. |
