Fiscal Detail and Notes
	As amended, this bill includes additional Other Special Revenue funds allocations of $59,188 and $50,255 in fiscal years 2003-04 and 2004-05, respectively, to the Department of Public Safety for the costs of monitoring certain new regulatory requirements pertaining to Beano games.  However, there is currently a significant revenue shortfall for the dedicated Licensing and Enforcement program within the department.  The department has submitted a bill (LD 1405) which increases fees to cover this revenue shortfall. If LD 1405 is enacted into law, there may be sufficient revenue to cover these additional costs. If there are not sufficient revenues to cover the additional costs emanating from this bill, General Fund appropriations of the same amounts will be required.
