This bill establishes an independent 7 member "Cable Television Franchise Board" to regulate the franchising of cable television companies.  The board will operate utilizing revenue derived from an assessment on every cable television company licensed by the board.  This funding is capped at $200,000 annually.  The specific costs associated with required positions, administrative expenses, consulting fees, board expenses and other operating expenses can not be determined at this time.
