| Fiscal Detail and Notes | |||||||
| Prohibiting the sale of non-fire-safe cigarettes will reduce General Fund revenue from cigarette taxes by a significant amount beginning in fiscal year 2004-05. The exact amount can not be estimated at this time. | |||||||
| The Department of Public Safety will require additional annual Other Special Revenue Funds allocations of $500 beginning in fiscal year 2004-05 to reflect the establishment of the Cigarette Fire Safety Fund. The amounts of dedicated revenue that will be collected for that fund can not be determined at this time. | |||||||
| The Department of Public Safety can absorb the costs of adopting certain rules within existing budgeted resources. | |||||||
