| This bill will require General Fund appropriations to the Department of the Attorney General to fund 1.5 Assistant Attorney General positions and one Paralegal position to perform certain licensing and investigatory actions. The Department of Human Services will also require a General Fund appropriation to fund 2 Institutional Abuse Unit (IAU) positions in the Community Service Center in order to initiate investigations on all complaints of out-of-home child abuse and neglect within 48 hours. | |||||||
