| Repealing the permit requirement for 53-foot trailers will decrease Highway Fund revenue collected by the Secretary of State by $705,135 and $940,180 in fiscal years 2003-04 and 2004-05, respectively. Increasing various truck and trailer related fees will increase Highway Fund revenue collected by the Secretary of State by $709,499 and $945,998 in fiscal years 2003-04 and 2004-05, respectively. This bill will also result in a minor net loss of Highway Fund revenue in the collection of fines by the Judicial Department in an undetermined amount due to the anticipated reduction in unregistered trailer violations and an offsetting increase in overweight violations on the turnpike and Interstate 95. | |||||||
