| Repealing the permit requirement for 53-foot trailers will decrease Highway Fund revenue collected by the Secretary of State by $705,135 and $940,180 in fiscal years 2003-04 and 2004-05, respectively. Increasing various truck and trailer related fees will increase Highway Fund revenue collected by the Secretary of State by $709,499 and $945,998 in fiscal years 2003-04 and 2004-05, respectively. This bill will also result in an undetermined loss of Highway Fund fine revenue due to the anticipated reduction in unregistered trailer violations. | |||||||
