	The additional costs associated with conducting a study regarding the sale of batteries that contain mercury can be absorbed by the Department of Environmental Protection utilizing existing budgeted resources.  The department will retain a consultant to help gather information and pay for these services with the existing allocations from the Solid Waste Management Fund.
