	The costs of establishing the Maine Communications System Policy Board within the Department of Public Safety can be absorbed utilizing currently budgeted resources. Possible future General Fund costs associated with any subsequent establishment of a regional communications unit within the department will depend on any implementation recommendations developed by the board and submitted to the Legislature for approval.  The amounts can not be determined at this time.
