	This bill will avoid an increase in unbudgeted costs to the Legislature estimated to be approximately $20,250 per day for each day the Legislature is in Special Session.  This estimate is based on legislators being entitled to receive $100 per day plus some related retirement costs.  The total impact of this bill will depend on how many days the Legislature will remain in Special Session.  In addition, this bill will avoid the $55 per diem for each legislator to attend committee meetings held during days when the Legislature is not in session.
