Sec. 1. Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority authorized to assess surcharge
on tickets in New Hampshire for travel on Downeaster passenger rail service. Resolved:
That the Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority shall
determine the per capita cost of New Hampshire and Maine
passengers on the Downeaster passenger rail service and assess a
surcharge on all tickets purchased in New Hampshire for travel on
the Downeaster passenger rail service. All money received from
the surcharge must be applied solely to the payment of
operational costs for the Downeaster passenger rail service.

 
SUMMARY

 
This resolve authorizes the Northern New England Passenger
Rail Authority to assess a surcharge on tickets purchased in New
Hampshire for travel on the Downeaster passenger rail service.
Money received from the surcharge must be used solely for the
payment of operational costs for the Downeaster passenger rail
service.
