Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §11152, sub-§7 is enacted to read:

7.__Hunters 70 years of age or older.__An antlerless deer permit system adopted by the commissioner pursuant to this section must include a provision that provides, upon application to the commissioner, an antlerless deer permit to any hunter who is 70 years of age or older and holds a valid hunting license.

SUMMARY

This bill requires the Commissioner of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife to issue an antlerless deer permit to a hunter who is 70 years of age or older.
