| | | Sec. 1. 22 MRSA §1720 is enacted to read: |

| | | Beginning January 1, 2006, a health care provider licensed in | | this State shall charge a uniform rate for each health care | | service regardless of the patient or anticipated payor of the | | bill. |

| | | This bill requires that beginning January 1, 2006 a health | | care provider will charge the same for the health care service | | regardless of the patient or the anticipated payor. |
