Sec. 1. 38 MRSA §2133, sub-§8 is enacted to read:

8.__Regional household hazardous waste collection.__The municipal officials in each county shall work together to designate an existing transfer station or recycling center in each county to accept household hazardous waste for disposal by residents of that county on a year-round basis.__The municipal officials may impose fees for the disposal of such household hazardous waste.
