| | | Sec. 1. 23 MRSA §709 is enacted to read: |

| | | §709.__Application fee waived |
|
| | | The Commissioner of Transportation shall waive the application | | fee for a project if the anticipated project cost is less than | | $2,000,000. |

| | | Sec. 2. 38 MRSA §352, sub-§7 is enacted to read: |
|
| | | 7.__Processing fee waived.__The commissioner shall waive the | | processing fee for a project under this section if the | | anticipated project cost is less than $2,000,000. |
|
| | | This bill requires the Commissioner of Environmental | | Protection and the Commissioner of Transportation to waive the | | application or processing fee for projects with anticipated costs | | that are less than $2,000,000. |
