| | | Sec. 1. 20-A MRSA §10909 is enacted to read: |

| | | Prior to the university making a major policy decision that | | affects a campus, college or municipality or the Maine Community | | College System, including but not limited to consolidating | | campuses, the university must seek input from affected parties, | | including the municipality, the Maine Community College System | | and administration and faculty members of the affected campuses | | or colleges. |

| | | This bill requires the University of Maine System to seek | | input from parties, including administration and faculty members | | of campuses and colleges, municipalities and the Maine Community | | College System, that are affected by a major policy decision by | | the University of Maine System. |
