| | | 1.__A person commits the strict liability crime of vehicular | | manslaughter if that person, while operating a motor vehicle and | | committing a traffic infraction, causes the death of another | | person. |

| | | 2.__Vehicular manslaughter is a Class D crime. |

| | | This bill creates the crime of vehicular manslaughter, which | | is defined as causing the death of another person while operating | | a motor vehicle and committing a traffic infraction. Vehicular | | manslaughter is a strict liability Class D crime. |
