| 7.__Exception for students with disabilities.__A student with |
| such severe disabilities that accomplishment of content standards |
| for grades 9 to 12 is determined unreachable by the Pupil |
| Evaluation Team, which includes the high school principal, may be |
| awarded a diploma based upon successfully reaching the goals of |
| that student's individualized education plan and other locally |
| established graduation criteria, including alternate local |
| assessment.__It may be noted on the diploma that the diploma is |
| based on Alternate Standards and Assessment. |
