3.__Service provider other than State.__If the service provider designated to provide inpatient or outpatient treatment or to monitor or supervise any other terms and conditions of a committed person's placement in a less restrictive alternative is other than the department or the Department of Corrections, that service provider must agree in writing to provide the treatment.

4.__Conditions of release.__Before authorizing release to a less restrictive alternative, the court shall impose such conditions on the committed person as are necessary to ensure the safety of the community, including conditions imposed pursuant to Title 17-A, chapter 50.__A copy of the conditions of release must be given to the person and the person's designated service provider.__The court shall order the department or the Department of Corrections to investigate the less restrictive alternative and recommend any additional conditions to the court.__These conditions include, but are not limited to, the following:

A.__Specification of residence;

B.__Prohibition of contact with potential or past victims;

C.__Prohibition of alcohol or other drug use;

D.__Participation in a specific course of inpatient or outpatient treatment that may include monitoring by the use of polygraph and plethysmograph;

E.__Supervision by a corrections supervisor, including a supervisor of conditions imposed pursuant to Title 17-A, chapter 50;

F.__A requirement that the person remain within the State unless the person receives prior authorization from the court to leave the State; and

G.__Any other conditions that the court determines are in the best interest of the person or others.
