| Sec. 1. School Administrative District 16 allowed to sell school. Resolved: That, |
| notwithstanding the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 20-A, School |
| Administrative District 16 may sell the consolidated Hall-Dale |
| Elementary School in anticipation of closing the school and enter |
| a lease to rent the consolidated Hall-Dale Elementary School for |
| $1 per year until a replacement school building is completed and |
| ready to be occupied. Proceeds from the sale of the consolidated |
| Hall-Dale Elementary School pursuant to this section must be used |
| to defray the local share of the costs of construction of the new |
| school that replaces the consolidated Hall-Dale Elementary |
| School. |
