Sec. 1. Salmon and brook trout habitat restoration. Resolved: That the
Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife shall coordinate and
facilitate salmon and brook trout habitat restoration efforts.
The department shall conduct a statewide survey to create a
priority list for habitat restoration for salmon and brook trout.
The department shall facilitate the creation of a database that
contains a wide variety of habitat information that may be used
for subsequent analyses of salmon distribution, population and
habitats.

 
SUMMARY

 
This resolve directs the Department of Inland Fisheries and
Wildlife to coordinate and facilitate salmon and brook trout
habitat restoration efforts. The resolve also directs the
department to conduct a statewide survey to create a priority
list for habitat restoration and to facilitate the creation of a
database.
