| | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows: |

| | | Sec. 1. 10 MRSA §8003, sub-§5, ¶G is enacted to read: |

| | | G.__Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any bureau, | | office, board or commission within or affiliated with the | | department may issue a temporary license for a period of 6 | | months and waive all licensing requirements, except for | | fees, to any applicant upon a showing of current, valid | | licensure in that profession in another state. |

| | | This bill provides statutory authority for all bureaus, | | offices, boards and commissions within or affiliated with the | | Department of Professional and Financial Regulation to issue | | temporary licenses for 6 months if an applicant is licensed in | | another state. |
|
