| | | The requirements of this chapter do not apply to platform | | lifts.__For purposes of this section, "platform lift" means a | | platform that is capable of lifting a wheelchair a distance of 5 | | to 6 feet. |

| | | This bill exempts platform lifts from the annual elevator | | inspection. |
