Sec. 1. 1 MRSA §206-A, sub-§2, as enacted by PL 1999, c. 302, §2, is repealed and the following enacted in its place:

2.__Optional.__The prisoner of war - missing in action flag may be displayed in the following places on a pole located at the main building whenever the flag of the United States is flown:

A.__A municipality; and

B.__A District Court, a Superior Court and the Supreme Judicial Court.

SUMMARY

This bill allows District Courts, Superior Courts and the Supreme Judicial Court to display the POW-MIA flag whenever the flag of the United States is flown.
