Revenue Funds account.__These funds must be used for repairs,
capital improvements and other costs of managing the facilities
operated by the Maine Military Authority in Limestone.

 
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the department also
may recommend that:

 
A.__Part of the rental income collected by the Department of
Administrative and Financial Services, Bureau of General
Services pursuant to this subsection be transferred to the
General Fund as undedicated revenue;

 
B.__Part of the rental income collected by the Department of
Administrative and Financial Services, Bureau of General
Services pursuant to this subsection be transferred to the
Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management,
Maine National Guard Education Assistance Pilot Program,
Other Special Revenue Funds account for tuition assistance;
and

 
C.__Part of the rental income collected by the Department of
Administrative and Financial Services, Bureau of General
Services pursuant to this subsection be transferred to the
Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management,
Maine National Guard Education Assistance Pilot Program,
Other Special Revenue Funds account for the reimbursement of
the purchase of supplemental life insurance as provided for
in the provisions of Title 37-B, section 390-B.

 
Sec. W-2. 37-B MRSA §390-B is enacted to read:

 
§390-B.__Reimbursement for purchase of supplemental life
insurance

 
A member of the National Guard or the Reserves of the United
States Armed Forces assigned to a unit located in the State who
serves in the theater of operations for Operation Enduring
Freedom or Operation Iraqi Freedom during any month in the 2006
calendar year is eligible to receive reimbursement for the cost
of the monthly premium for supplemental life insurance offered by
the Federal Government from the Commissioner of Defense, Veterans
and Emergency Management in an amount up to $16.25 per month for
each month in 2006 that member serves in either theater of
operations and for which that member purchases supplemental
insurance.

 
Sec. W-3. PL 2005, c. 457, Pt. ZZ, §1 is amended to read:

 
Sec. *ZZ-1. Maine Military Authority; transfer of rent payments to General Fund.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the first up to
$855,223 of rent paid in fiscal year 2005-06
