Sec. UUU-1. Education in Unorganized Territory account; lapse balances.
Notwithstanding any other provision of law, $1,600,000 of
unencumbered balance forward in fiscal year 2004-05 in the
Education in the Unorganized Territory, General Fund account in
the Department of Education lapses to the General Fund in fiscal
year 2005-06.

 
Sec. UUU-2. Appropriations and allocations. The following appropriations
and allocations are made.

Initiative: Provides for a one-time deappropriation of funds to
the Education in the Unorganized Territory program in fiscal year
2005-06.

Sec. VVV-1. Commissioner of Health and Human Services; rulemaking. The
Commissioner of Health and Human Services shall adopt rules
governing the MaineCare consumer-directed attendant services
program to increase the rate of reimbursement for providers of
consumer-directed personal care assistance services from $7.71
per hour to $9.00 per hour effective July 1, 2006.

 
Sec. VVV-2. Commissioner of Labor; rulemaking. The Commissioner of
Labor shall adopt rules governing the program of state-funded
consumer-directed personal care assistance services under the
Maine
Revised Statutes, Title 26, section 1412-H to increase the rate
of reimbursement for providers of consumer-directed personal care
assistance services from $7.71 per hour to $9.00 per hour
effective July 1, 2006.
