| | All fees collected as provided by this chapter must be | remitted to the Treasurer of State for the use of the State with | the exception of those fees established by rule and collected for | expedited service. Fees for expedited service are deposited into | a fund for use by the Secretary of State in providing an improved | filing service. |

| | This chapter takes effect July 1, 2007. |

Unless otherwise indicated in this | Title, the provisions of Title 13-C apply to financial | institutions operating as corporations; Title 31, chapter 11, 19 | applies to financial institutions operating as limited | partnerships; Title 31, chapter 13 applies to financial | institutions operating as limited liability companies; and Title | 31, chapter 15 applies to financial institutions operating as | limited liability partnerships. |
