Nov-05 General Referendum Standard
The Secretary of State's budget includes sufficient funds to accommodate one ballot of average length for the general election in November. If the number or size of the referendum questions increases the ballot length, an additional appropriation of $8,000 or more may be required. 
Fiscal Detail and Notes
If approved by the voters, municipalities will incur significant expense to develop and maintain a notification and tracking system that will identify those prohibited from voting; the amounts can not be determined at this time.  No mandate would be created because it would have been voted on, not imposed by the state.
