| This bill eliminates the State Planning Office effective July 15,2007. Since the Department of Economic and Community Development is required to present its proposal to reallocate essential functions to other state agencies to the Joint Standing Committee on Business, Research and Economic Development no later than December 10, 2005, the specific future biennium savings are unknown at this time. | |||||||||
| The Department of Economic and Community Development may require an additional one-time General Fund appropriation in fiscal year 2005-06 to contract for the services of a consultant with the necessary expertise to conduct the required review and make the required recommendations. The amount can not be determined at this time. | |||||||||
