| The amendment changes the effective date of the health insurance subsidy program from July 1, 2007 to January 1, 2007, and funds the cost of the subsidy during this six-month period with an allocation from the Fund for a Healthy Maine (FHM) that is itself funded by an across-the board deallocation to programs in the FHM. The amendment funds the 2008-2009 costs of the subsidy from FHM funds, thereby eliminating the General Fund costs of the subsidy. | |||||||||
