| Fiscal Detail and Notes | |||||||||
| The full implementation of fusion voting will require a one-time General Fund appropriation of $4,160,600 in fiscal year 2005-06 to the Department of the Secretary of State for the modification and purchase of voting machines as well as other necessary implementation costs. In addition, the advent of fusion voting is likely to increase costs to the Maine Clean Elections Fund; the amounts will depend on the number of contested primary races and can not be determined at this time. | |||||||||
