| Requiring school administrative units to perform two bi-weekly checks of the overall grade average of certain minor students whose average has fallen below a C- to determine if the student's average grade has risen to a least a C- so that the student may return to normal working conditions is a mandate. The statewide cost could be significant. | This bill will require the revision of the Child Labor poster by the Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Standards. A General Fund appropriation of $13,000 is fiscal year 2005-06 is required for printing and mailing costs. If other bills are enacted that also require changes to this poster, the cost properly allocated to this bill can be reduced. | |||||||||
