| This legislation will increase costs to the State, as an employer, to provide an annual adjustment to the benefits paid to those injured employees whose incapacity for work resulting from the injury is total. The amount can not be determined at this time. However, estimates provided by the Division of Employee Health and Benefits indicate the costs may range between $35,000 and $210,000. The actual cost to the State will depend on the number of injured employees whose incapacity for work from the injury is total. | |||||||||
