The submission of
a separate countywide ballot to be used in Washington County during the next
general election in November will require a one-time General Fund
appropriation of $6,950 in fiscal year 2005-06 for the Department of the
Secretary of State for the costs of producing and distributing a separate
ballot. |

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
In addition, the
revenues and costs associated with this bill will be contingent upon approval
of a tribal track and slot machines in Washington County by the voters of
Washington County in a countywide referendum. If the track and slot machine
facility are approved in a countywide vote, the revenues and costs will be
delayed for at least 6 months. |
